Video tools

Process video locally in your browser: remove fixed-position watermarks with automatic temporal reconstruction or MI-GAN and LaMa AI inpainting, an optional HQ mode for large marks, exported as H.264 MP4 with the original audio. Files never leave your device.

Videos are decoded, rebuilt and encoded locally in your browser and never uploaded; AI inpainting models (about 28MB / 198MB) are downloaded on demand.

What this category is for

These tools decode and re-encode video with WebCodecs in your browser and re-add audio with a WebAssembly build of ffmpeg, so watermark removal never uploads your file. AI inpainting models load on demand: lightweight MI-GAN for small marks, and the LaMa HQ mode for large watermarks or marks over faces and building edges.

The compute comes from your device: processing time scales with video length, resolution and hardware, so test a clip under one minute before running a full video.

Choosing between these tools

Just removing a badge or logo
The default Auto mode is enough: temporal median rebuild on moving backgrounds, or MI-GAN inpainting on one representative frame applied to the whole clip when the background is static.
Large marks over faces or structures
Switch to the LaMa HQ mode: its global receptive field reconstructs structure instead of just filling texture, at the cost of an about-198MB download and roughly 7x slower inference.
Fastest possible result
Pick the temporal mode explicitly: no AI model loads at all, and it is fastest with zero flicker when the background or camera moves.
Privacy first
No video tool uploads files: decoding, rebuilding and encoding all happen locally, and data is cleared when the page closes — suitable for unpublished material.

Formats and capabilities compared

Trade-offs between the three reconstruction modes: speed, model size and best-fit scenarios.

Limits that apply across this category

Only fixed-position watermarks are supported; marks that move or change shape cannot be covered by a single selection, and rolling credits are better handled by cropping.

Marks over faces, text, or continuously changing texture are rebuilt by estimation and may not match the real content — inspect the output frame by frame.

Export re-encodes to H.264, adding slight second-generation compression; use original project files when maximum fidelity matters.

Frequently asked questions

Do the video tools upload my files?
No. Videos are decoded, rebuilt and encoded locally, and the output is generated locally too; nothing is uploaded. AI modes download open-source models on first use, which the browser then usually caches.
Which video formats are supported?
Common formats your browser can decode, such as MP4, WebM and MOV, up to 300MB and 5 minutes per file. Output is always an H.264 MP4 with the original audio re-added when possible.
Are the video tools free?
Yes. Everything runs in your own browser with no transcoding queue and no usage limits; speed depends on your device.
Does watermark removal reduce quality?
The picture is re-encoded, adding slight second-generation compression. Default AI inpainting uses lightweight MI-GAN; for large watermarks the LaMa HQ mode gives better structural reconstruction but is bigger and slower.
