Privacy Policy

ToolGarden is built around browser-local tool processing. This policy explains the important distinction between the text or files you process and the page-level telemetry generated while visiting the site.

Last updated: 2026-08-03

Tool inputs and local processing

Text, files, images, PDFs, audio, and other inputs selected inside supported tools are intended to be processed on your device and are not uploaded to a ToolGarden processing server. Tool workspaces are explicitly marked for Microsoft Clarity masking, and standard input fields are masked by Clarity in all masking modes.

Some tools download JavaScript, WebAssembly, fonts, codecs, or machine-learning model assets. Network access for those assets is not an upload of your selected source file. You can inspect the browser Network panel when a workflow requires independent verification.

Analytics and page telemetry

ToolGarden uses Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity across the site, and Baidu Analytics on Chinese-language routes. These services may receive page URLs and titles, approximate location, browser and device information, identifiers, performance diagnostics, and interaction events such as clicks, scrolling, and page navigation.

Analytics data is handled under each provider's terms, controls, and retention settings. Do not place personal data or secrets in page URLs. ToolGarden does not intentionally send filenames, tool input values, or generated output values as custom analytics events.

Advertising and consent

ToolGarden uses Google AdSense to fund the public service. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or similar storage to deliver and measure ads, limit repeated ads, detect invalid traffic, and, where permitted by your choices and applicable law, personalize advertising.

Ad requests can include the page URL, IP address, browser and device information, advertising or consent identifiers, and interaction data related to an ad. ToolGarden does not intentionally send the text, files, images, audio, or generated output you process inside a tool as advertising data. Where a consent message is shown, you can accept, reject, or adjust the available advertising choices.

Browser storage and caching

The site may use browser cache, service-worker storage, cookies, or local storage for offline assets, preferences, tool-specific persistence such as whiteboard state, and strictly necessary security functions such as abuse prevention and traffic routing at the CDN edge. These items remain under your browser profile and can be removed through your browser's site-data controls, although removing required security data may cause it to be set again on a later request.

Your choices and questions

Browser privacy controls, content blockers, and site-data settings may limit analytics and stored data, although blocking required scripts or assets can affect tool functionality. Contact ToolGarden if you have a privacy question or believe sensitive data has been exposed.
